My baby's reached an age
Where she doesn't mind the shower.
This is a blessed, blessed day.
At last!
She doesn't start to scream
As soon as I turn on the water
And get her near the stream.

No more stupid Elmo show
Every time I need to shower,
Cuz now she likes the faucet's flow!
(This is a banner day in the King house. It's been so hot this week that I have been too gross after walking Torg to wait till nap time to shower, so she's been getting extra TV time while I rinse off the ick. Up till today she would scream bloody murder if I tried to bring her in with me. I haven't tried in a few weeks but I guess that time made all the difference! She now laughs when the water hits her, plays with her toys, and complains when I turn the shower off. Hallelujah, I no longer have to weigh listening to her cry against letting her watch even MORE TV [and getting the Elmo's World sing stuck in my head] against stewing in my own sweat until 12:30 every day. Whee!)
(Plus, more damp baby curls in my life is never a bad thing.)

Congratulations! This is a milestone my kids never managed to reach. It would have made things SO much easier. With as hot as it's been, I'm glad you're no longer feeling sweaty all day, cause that's just icky.
